History

1972
Established Hamamoto Die and Mold Manufacturing at Shimokobata, Sabae.
1979
Opened a new plant at Kaminaka-cho, Sabae.
1980
Started operations in the Eyeglass Parts Manufacturing Department.
Incorporated and renamed the company Hamamoto Technical Co., Ltd.
1982
Added a die plant and detached the Dies Department from the Shimokobata Plant.
1984
Divided the company into Hamamoto Technical Co., Ltd. and Hamamoto Dies Inc. Ltd.
Added a three-story component plant.
1985
Started manufacturing eyeglass frames.
1988
Upgraded the Sales Division.
1991
Started overseas operations.
1993
Full-fledged overseas operations started by contracting with BAUSCH & LOMB U.S.A. to manufacture OEM
products ofr them.
2002
Launched sales of the original brand, WAZA.
2004
Hidesuke Hamamoto appointed chairman.
Yukinori Hamamoto appointed president.
2005
Added a plant and die warehouse.
2006
5-axis control machining center was purchased.
2007
Try Eye Co., Ltd. established.
2009
“G.ARROWS”of the plastic frame was announced at IOFT.
2010
Merged with Hamamoto Dies Inc. Ltd.
2011
The frame which pasted the plastic together(HAMAMOTO) was announced at SILMO and IOFT.
2012
HAMAMOTO receives authorization of Local Jobs Support Enterprise from the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry.
